Between breath, body, voice, and instrument: The duo project of Elisa Azzarà and Margarethe Maierhofer-Lischka explores the framework of an instrumental duo and plays with the vocality and physicality of music-making. The six compositions were largely created in close collaboration with the two musicians and incorporate breathing, singing, and speaking voice as resonance spaces for the instruments. Theatrical gestures, song fragments, natural sounds, and bodily sounds invite listeners to experience musicality anew.
