New Radio Schallfeld Podcast: Thin

This episode is dedicated to all things ephemeral, slim, thin, fitting between two surfaces… as we are all now sharing this feeling of being in an in-between-state, not knowing what will be, while we ourselves maybe feel our bodies heavier and heavier from begin locked inside… Where do we find thin and small things in music and art? Lorenzo Derinni talks to two composers that have been woking with this idea: Diego Jimenez Tamame and Diana Soh. They speak about media, seeing and hearing, about life and art, and you will find out what things as different bubble surfaces and Lego blocks may have in common.

New podcast of Radio Schallfeld!

[:en]
Here you can listen to the podcast of last month’s episode of Radio Schallfeld, our first one recorded live!

Margarethe Maierhofer – Lischka and Davide Gagliardi talk about sounds in space and sound and space – how music and space are linked in our hearing, what psychoacoustics matter for music, how composers think and create space out of sound and work with the acoustics of a room, how we imagine and shape space in performance or in listening. We listen to feedback loops, clicks and cuts, microphones as instruments, and we hear an AI system interacting with musicians.
With music by Agostino Di Scipio, Davide Gagliardi, Artemi Maria Gioti and Maryanne Amacher
